![]() ![]() ![]() There are certain limitations of what I can do to make this a standalone program without FileMaker. ![]() I don’t want to devote all of my spare time to supporting many users of the program. Some of my scripts and code would make a real developer laugh out loud. I’m not a professional FileMaker developer.I have no plans to release this software commercially for a number of reasons: It has come a long long way since then, and it’s been used on almost 50 shows so far since V2.0 came out in November of 2015. In 2015, I decided to really give it a go and what you’re using today was born. I knew nothing about FileMaker then and my initial version was incredibly primitive. I started writing it back in 2013 when I first decided that I wanted more customization over my lighting paperwork than the current industry programs would allow me. Thank you for downloading the Paperwork Management Portal (PMP.) This program is a bit of a labor of love and curiosity for me. It should never give you too few sheets, only too many. I’m working on the math involved to make this more accurate, but in the meantime, please verify. So if you only had 2 6.25” cuts and 2 7.5” cuts, it would still tell you that you need two sheets and not just one sheet. Currently though, it counts based on frame size. The program will ask you how many cuts of color fit on a given sheet. It is recommended that you verify the order counts before actually placing your color order. This is a new feature in 2.9.0 and is still in beta. Have commenting access to this file? Please leave comments on areas that are incorrect or confusing. ![]()
